Privacy policy
Deevar for AI LLC, Cairo, Egypt (online store), runs AMARA at amara-me.com and in the AMARA apps.
What we collect
Your mobile number (to sign you in and confirm orders), your delivery addresses including the map pin, your orders, the try-ons you ask for, and — only if you choose to upload one — your photo. See Photo privacy.
How we protect it
Your phone number and any second number you give for the courier are stored encrypted. Photos are encrypted with a key that belongs to your account alone.
Who we share it with
Meta (WhatsApp) to send your login code and order messages; our SMS provider if you ask for an SMS code; Google to make try-on images; the courier who delivers your order. With your consent only, Meta, TikTok and Google receive advertising measurements.
Cookies and advertising
Some cookies are needed to run the shop: your bag, signing in, your language and your cookie choice. Two more kinds are used only if you say yes in the cookie banner, and you can change your answer any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page:
- Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to see which pages work and which confuse.
- Marketing: the Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Google Ads and Snapchat pixels. They tell those platforms that someone who saw our ad visited or ordered, so our ads reach people like you and not everyone. With your yes, we also tell them from our server when an order is placed, confirmed or delivered; your phone number and email are sent only as a one-way code (a hash), never as they are.
In the app, the same happens only if you allow tracking.
WhatsApp messages
We message you on WhatsApp about your orders (confirmation, delivery, returns). Offers come only if you tick the box for them, and you can stop them by replying STOP. If you came to us from a WhatsApp ad, we tell Meta whether that chat led to an order.
Your choices
You can change your marketing messages in Profile & privacy, delete your photos at any time, and delete your account from the same page.
